This third installment is in line with the series on the history of the Aztecs. Rich in details and plot twists, the author keeps us in suspense throughout the book. The story takes place approximately a century after the arrival of Cortes in Mexico. Cristobal's adventures We follow the Bastardo, Metis blood mingled Aztec-Spanish and despised by the society of New Spain.
Only downside purely subjective, I was less amazed that the very famous "Azteca", the first installment in the series (not surprising in view of the quality of this masterpiece). However, if you liked "Azteca", you'll like "Aztec Blood" because the author makes a few references.
