In terms of games, I can not really say because I am not fond of smartphone games, but I have installed asphalt 8 and frankly nothing to say it is fluid and without slowdown.
The screen is large but comfortable, it is in "single HD" 720P but hey you're on a phone and personally I am quite mad my screen in full HD 1080P am foo foo bar.
