The soft brush actually sucks the dust, instead of disturbing him. It is, however, - as another reviewer wrote - much smaller than you think: just as long as a hand. And the bristles are certainly not "extra soft". A big minus: The soft brush can be only between a plugged hose installed correctly. One would think that this hose is delivered either together with the soft brush or at least would have to be available as an accessory. It is but just to get as part of the accessory sets. That is, I have bought the CD16 Animalpro plus the soft brush, which would be quite sufficient for my purposes. Now I have to get to the hose, buy the very expensive battery operated vacuum cleaner and the 17,90 expensive small plastic soft brush even the 49,90 expensive accessory set, although I did not need the other parts. A ridiculous piece of plastic tubing so it cost me 50 euros. Individually there is not even the tube as a spare part. That's real rip off! The customer service told me to request succinctly, I could buy the accessory kit, it was included the hose. But I already knew that ... 3 star deduction for customer unfriendly product policy and pricing!
