The following dry shaver I have now tested each for several weeks:
1. Philips HS6920 (inexpensive battery / power supply)
2. Brown M60 mobile shave (unit for battery operation)
3. Braun 590cc (Contour Plus) with the new "Opti Foil" shaving foil
4. Braun 760cc with the old "Smart Foil" shaving foil
The shave has increased noticeably in that order from device to device, said Philips was by far the worst unit.
With the Braun 760cc Accessing nearly as close shave as with a razor, and with virtually no skin irritation. Compared to the 590cc the 760cc both thorough and fast. With thoroughness I mean: Directly after shaving are with your fingers no more stubble felt, the skin is smooth.
In terms of sustainability, however, no one comes this dry shaver at a wet shave zoom (compared with Gillette Fusion, wet shave after the shower with warm skin). A wet shave is enough for the whole day - if it does not have to be 100%, sometimes for two. In all of these dry shavers I have nachrasieren evening when I want to go out again. This applies in attenuated form for the 760cc.
Why does the 760cc from me only 4 stars?
The housing is made entirely of plastic, but is through the use of chrome and high-gloss finish looks like metal. I think that this affects just cheap. For the top model of Brown and the extremely high list price completely unreasonable.
All my statements are valid for the entire series 7. The individual models (720, 735, 750cc, 760cc, 790cc, 795cc) differ only in color, cleaning station (yes / no / with quick cleaning function) and display (LCD or LED). When 795cc yet is added to an extended 5-year warranty.
I would recommend a model with cleaning station because the closed shaving head otherwise not be completely clean. The costs for the cleaning liquid are negligible when one closes the cartridge again after each use, so that the contents do not evaporate. Who wants to save even more, can use a refill product by a third party.
The units currently sold have the newer "Opti Foil" shaving foil, which should bring about a further improvement in the shaving loud Brown.
