I had until recently a Razer Deathstalker. This was good as well but slowly and gradually the material has on the palm rest rubbed. Because I've always wanted a mechanical keyboard (very importantly! Cherry Switch) I have finally decided on the K70.
I have had only good experiences with the company so far and put this forward even with the keyboard. And what can I say, I was not disappointed. The aluminum finish looks very classy. The keyboard looks very menacing and purist what exactly meets my design taste. The lighting is adjustable in 3 steps. You could possibly be a bit brighter.
The palm rest is not too big and can be removed if necessary. The main point of criticism is the software with this keyboard. Here one can argue. If you want to have your own lighting effect, one must willy-nilly with the very, very, very comprehensive software deal and pull the fabled, extremely thick manual.
But you can also from a very large portfolio already choose prefabricated effects (Just google) For people like me who want to use the keyboard that's enough. Even if you want to illuminate only individual keys one needs no computer studies. This is a simple mouse click.
Conclusion of my side: Very good keyboard with excellent writing experience and a very good haptic quality.
