This philosophical treatise is worth it just for ease of reading for topics which are nevertheless sometimes quite complex. The fictionalized autobiographical style allows Pirsig to convey messages easily with concrete examples, and explain a certain idea of modernity through actions that everyone can take easily. However, the book loses his breath in his second party, although it remains as fascinating in its bottom, takes a much less interactive form, much more academic in its approach. So, the interest is still there, but reading less fluid.
In the end, more than 500 pages of more or less complex reflections swallowed a few days, generally with a great reading pleasure.
