The Türklingelset was well protected in styrofoam in a small cardboard box. The set consists of a transmitter (doorbell button) 2 receivers, 2 packs of 2 dowels and 2 screws and a stable adhesive film for the possible application of the doorbell.
The installation is more than easy and has asked me as a "technology-lay" before any problems. On the basis of the written in the respective steps of the German manual handling with the chime kit are very well explained.
I have first removed the paper tab under the battery of the transmitter, to enable this. In a receiver, I have the necessary 3 AAA Micro LRO3, 1.5V inserted (they are not included!) And the other receiver with plug inserted into the socket. The next step was to program the Bell / music selection.
Both receiver down on the right side to adjust the volume and ringer / music selections each a button.
In the first trying out the sets I have pressed on the transmitter flashing on both receivers and the transmitter a blue LED light and a very loud ringer rang.
However, I did not want a ring tone, but a melody. The 52 different pieces of music had it done to me and I decided last for the first song or "Elise" by the composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
The programming worked like this:
On both recipients of the right-side volume button for about 5 seconds must be pressed. Then on the overlying button with music icon and it can be the appropriate melody or simple ringtone selected. During this settings made in the receiver blaunem LED light flashing.
I have put myself tentatively with the transmitter (doorbell) outside the front door and "ringing" and could not believe it, that each present in different rooms recipient (a was in the farthest corner of the house) my Elise song could be heard. Class!
If the selection is made, the transmitter (doorbell) is pressed and the program is stored. If at any time another piece of music desired, the stored memories can be deleted by pressing the Music button and be entered as described at the beginning again.
Overall impression:
- The portable radio doorbell set is very well made and has an elegant design!
- Beneficiaries have the dimension of 8.5 cm height, 8 cm width and 2 cm depth
- The transmitter is 7 cm high, 4 cm wide and deep about 1.7 cm
- The volume can be adjusted 4 stages
- Between 52 stereophonic melodies can be selected
- A manual in German and English is available
- Playback of melodies / ring tones is at the highest level very loud audible
- According to the product specification, the receiving range is up to 300 meters
- Conclusion: Just great!
