Fabled shrewd German rock and Top Production

Hardly a CD with a German band so includes a range of interesting, funny and exciting songs. Even beyond Zeitgeist (of which this album has plenty of): The songs have hit qualities without end. The texts are simply awesome ("I know a land where old men regiern because you can not stay, because nothing can pass through it") and never slide the songs in silly sentimentality a'la Grönemeyer or plates pop off. Alone for the songwriting there with me already 5 points.

But: The band has a distinctive, even today modern sound. Great Keyboards (Georgsheil) with distinctive sounds, Bernd Potschka plays an incredibly cool and heavy rock guitar, man Praeker provides small shifts in the bass and Herwig Mitteregger, who probably responsible for most of the lyrics, with gaudy drums keeps the whole thing together.

And then: A cream-production. Great sound. Density reverberation rooms, exquisite studio effects because you realize 15 years band and producer experience, which could later bestowed with great success to other performers, the musicians. My compliments to the 5th spliffer Udo Arndt, the producer. For me one of the best German rock albums even today.
