For my collection of CD's and DVD's I use for reasons of space CD bags for 200 or 300 CD. These are purchased from different manufacturers and with verschiedenartigem fabric. Nevertheless, one loses there easily track. Normal labels (especially of the type "Stick 'n' lift ', ie removable) do not stick to these bags. So I was looking for an alternative that has good adhesion and even possibly well redetachable.
Long story short: The stickers are great.
With a laser printer (also Color!) They can easily and smoothly be printed. Standard word processing programs like Word offer the possibility of label printing, where a variety of label types is already stored. If the exact type is not listed, you can resort to the same size alternatives. The Model 4420 was not given to me, for example, so I dodged to the type 8804. Add your print-out text. Unused labels can also be used later, if you then enters the text in the appropriate fields. Even after repeated run, the labels stick still good, the adhesive is therefore not affected by the heat of the laser printer. From inkjet printer is not recommended by the manufacturer, I have not tried, because logically, the ink is strongly melt here due to the structure.
The adhesive effect on normal fabrics is good, so it does not dissolve as paper labels back at the corners or even completely. Nevertheless, they are easily removable. The manufacturer indicates not to stick the labels on silk, velvet and fine leather, otherwise staining is possible. This should heed, even if I could at least find anything at a rehearsal on velvet and a leather jacket, but I heard that some substances ...
In addition to the laser, the labels can also easily with a felt-tip pen (CD markers, Edding etc.) in duplicate. The contours of the color fringes thereby not at all or only very little from, depending on type. Especially in small seminars, this is useful because you do not always travel with a laser printer!
In my particular case with the CD bags labels hold at least better than paper labels that fall partly within a few seconds. The fabric labels keep in a rough (material) surface quite well, with the fine, nylon-like surface to another type, adhere though, but the edges are replacing repeatedly. I would have liked more holding power. As I said that, however, is a special case for which the labels are not designed! At the manufacturer: Let you come up with something for once!
Conclusion:
Great labels, easy printable, ideal for seminars and conferences! Price / performance ratio!
