I had Eva Jagun & her band (musicians from almost all continents) in Scala Leverkusen-Opladen experienced live and was so impressed by her voice, the slight, yet subtle and precise Bossa / Latin jazz / Jazzpop that I still locally this CD bought. I do not get tired even after the umpteenth listening, am inspired again and again, sing and play some pieces on my Rhodes piano or piano with or after. The faster Latin pieces go me in all fibers and I need to move easily, make me always in a good mood. Most quieter acoustic pieces flow me convince directly into the heart of me just by their simplicity that fits perfectly with the thoughtful and encouraging texts on which it is worthwhile to listen to in their texts Eva Jagun paints the facets of love (the blue pages but the color!) in a simple but beautiful picture language, in "Donde estas" and "Quieres venir" in Spanish (or Portuguese?).
Property now already seven times elected as a gift for friends this CD.
My Hörtipps for faster pieces
'Donde estas:
¿Dime donde tu amor escondes Tell me where you hide your love?
en un sueño profundo para mi In a deep dream of mine?
o simplemente se Apago Or they simply disappears
y ahora it un recuerdo para ti? and is only a memory for you?
'Into the sky
'Treasure chest (treasure chest)
A great, light bossa: Quieres venir. Beautiful instrumental solos.
My favorite quiet pieces:
'Everyday - Toller, encouraging text about the fascinating positive effect of music and our dreams.
'Why - with a beautiful small string section' to melt away
'In Your Loving Arms
'November Winds
and not least the cover of Ira and George Gershwin
'Someone to watch over me
