Failed experiment

Actually, I'm a big fan of Cassandra Wilson and her voice.
But for this album she told her manager that she wanted to do something unusual when she receives already Billie Holiday songs (or something like that goes the promo story she tells about this album). Each event that the Manager has then her distended the completely inexperienced jazz producer of Nick Cave & Bad Seeds. And the result is an unusual album, which unfortunately nothing at all wrong for me. A completely failed experiment! Bad used strings, reverb on the voice where it does not belong. Absoluts terribly cacophonous!
