I was only a little skeptical, since Gigabit cards are to have 10 at the price. In the competitive products but sting repeatedly out reviews, in which customers have rumkämpfen with driver issues. When I then saw the reviews of the Intel card, the decision was like.

Rather invest a few euros more and for a card that really deserves the name Gigabit controller. Furthermore, no drivers needed. Even under Windows 7 64-bit card has been started immediately.

WOL function I have not yet been tested. However, the NIC seems to get (at least for my motherboard) current, even if the computer is off. [UPDATE] Wake On Lan works! [/ UPDATE]

The speed is the bomb. Transmission is more likely by my two hard drives slowed down (5400 U / min). 70-80 MB / s are loose splashing around!

! Buy recommendation!

And one last comment to the packaging:
The card is only supplied in a plastic packaging. Without drivers, without manuals, etc .. The whole is unfortunately not even sent air- or foam padded Amazon.
