Fan caused 48 (!!!) decibels - No Thanks!

My husband ordered because of the good reviews this refrigerator, we now have him two days. I can not understand all the good reviews here. The fan is deafening! We hear the refrigerator in the kitchen, in the living room, and even on the 1st floor of our house, he can be heard. I had to repeatedly check whether it is the latest model, because I could not believe it, so that you can produce a loud refrigerator in this day and age!

We measured the volume itself, there are with us 48 (!!!) decibels! That's as loud as when someone speaks in the room. And besides that, the fan runs for several minutes, so again a longer impaired. So, I do not know how Siemens to 38 decibels come, that must have measured Someone of min. 10 meters. Anyway, we are very disappointed and can range from a purchase of this refrigerator only advise.

Addendum to my review: The Siemens technicians was on Saturday and has since replaced the fan, the fan had the non-installed state only 27 decibels, in the refrigerator even about 40 decibels. It is a part made in China. And although I have to mention it with praise, that Siemens has sent someone quickly, I wonder why so goes a device without checking out the customers and why are such cheap components installed in a refrigerator this price range?!? In any case, however, has not much changed, the refrigerator is still loud, what does it matter that the fan runs for about 45 minutes per hour. Add to that the cooling compressor and the clanking behind.
