A great book for beginners and probably useful in a second part for hackers who need to anchor notions more precisely. The illustrations are very clear, quality pictures, smart exercises. I especially like the layout which isolates the fundamentals of theoretical inserts small historical reminders of the history of discoveries in electronics. The information is extremely well-hierarchical, considering that the author insists --as it doit-- on fundamental concepts that must be mastered in order to move forward. I am a beginner and totally enthusiastic about this book that I consider my "savior", and it's not for lack of time spent looking for information on the internet also. 5 stars absolutely deserved.
