Fantastic - the wait was worth it!

Caveat: Yes, I write this review, even though the album has not yet appeared in Germany. But the CD that came out in the US and an original signed version in front of me ... and she's fantastic !!!

Know Alex Band, most probably (so far) as the lead singer of "The Calling" (eg "Wherever You Will Go") and his current single "Tonight" that one encounters at the moment everywhere. Since 2005 Alex band is now working on his solo career and here is the result: A beautiful rock-music in pop style album where you consistently hear the unique voice of Alex Band. That voice is simply amazing.

Alex Band himself wrote all his songs (some in collaboration with Daniel Damico and Scott Thomas) and you can tell easily that any unkind executed clapped not "I want the charts" - are or "Casting Bands" songs but that the songs come from the heart. Alex Band has invested for 5 years in these songs and a lot of money to produce the CD under his own label. And it has become something of worth!

The album runs up and down in my MP3 player - and I do not get enough of it.

The only minor complaint: The album could be rocking a trace. I just mags principle more rocking, not as "soft" and Alex voice is just gorgeous when he sings rockier. But that's a matter of taste.

From me, there's a full purchase recommendation. Who "The Calling" liked Alex Bands solo CD will love! And who does not know him, should quickly become a fan of this brilliant musicians =)

SUPPLEMENTARY 23.08.2010: The German version of the CD will be unfortunately without the song "Holding On". Too bad, it's a great song. Nevertheless definitely applies: Buy, buy, buy, and thus support this great musician! For this you get a wonderful CD, which I still hear in endurance run up and down even after 1.5 months and not get enough of it :)
