I ordered the thing several months ago and they are getting quite late. In the meantime, there have been many negative reviews:
* Poor picture quality
* Poor Performance
* No HD
* Does not go off
* Etc.
Bildqualtät / HD:
No idea why people here have problems with HD and colors. In my case with the Samsung TV everything looks great. HD is on and the colors are also good.
Performance:
The performance of the box is top. Not even local videos can be started faster than this box makes videos with Prime. It's great fun, the part to operate because everything runs quickly and smoothly.
Games:
I own the gamepad for Fire TV and also have Sonic. 1: 1 as it was on the Megadrive. This is not a disadvantage!
Off:
Yes ok, there is no off button. This thing goes off alone and who laments here over energy wastage, should probably only times elsewhere begin to save power. This tiny box needs almost nothing.
I did not regret the FireTV box to have bought. All my expectations were met. The build quality is absolutely top!
There is only one tiny little thing that I bemängel. The app on my Samsung TV had time the individual episodes of a series in a list. The FireTV box does not do that, unfortunately, and that makes it a little confusing!
