I had the chance to test this shaver Braun Series 7 720s-6 as part of a project trnd and I will give my opinion as sincerely as possible. I have 39ans and I am used to using an electric razor for almost forever. My beard is rather hard enough and pushes very quickly, and I have a pretty sensitive skin. I tried razor 2 or 3 rotary heads but every time I was either very angry or not clean-shaven, see 2! In recent years (6-7 years) I use a Braun Series 5 model 8985 with basis for self-cleaning and I am very happy apart from a bit too fragile grids. So I'll basically make the comparison with my "old" series 5. First, the model name is quite complicated and difficult to remember and therefore to talk to other people, for a high-end model, the marketing department could have made more effort to that it is more rewarding. The packaging is quite simple, I find a little bit unfortunate the use of non-recyclable polystyrene, cardboard might as well do the trick. We find in the box, the razor obviously a small cleaning brush, power cord, a small bottle of oil to maintain the razor, the rather simplistic but well explained instructions and a carrying case fabric / foam rigid that covers your razor in which you can not store the cord or the bottle, but we do not use it every day so not a problem for me. By cons, old Series 5 also has a little extra protection for the grid that I find very useful. I find the design very successful razor, sobriety and quality mix. Although it is a bit big, especially the head, the grip is perfect with its nonslip material, and it is light enough (more than my 5 series which is smaller). The finishes are really perfect, it is rewarding to use a product of high quality. I thought it a little quieter razor, it must be linked to the new technology of 10,000 vibrations, but not shocking either. Shaving is really stunning, very fast, no need to iron a lot of time in one place, and above all it is very very soft. I've had no irritation or redness or button, only a small moment almost pleasant feeling of warmth. Just set the intensity and it is effective as a 1-day beard as 3-4j. For the neck portion, the most delicate, it took me a few days to take good know how to handle this razor and my skin gets used. In the end, it is much more efficient, shaved closer and faster than my 5 series while being softer during use and my skin seems less assaulted. The small integrated mower seem somewhat ridiculous, but it does its job perfectly. Another positive point is its autonomy is very important more than a week in heavy use and rapid recharging. My 5 Series, despite his advanced age and heavy use, also has as good battery life (much too early to judge the longevity of this series but that of my 7 Series 5 is exceptional!) Maintenance side is very simple and convenient, a little bit under water from time to time and go again, I was very happy with my self-cleaning base (also available for this model) but it seems to me not necessary, while having a space saving and product economy. I am very happy with this razor Braun 720s-6 and I highly recommend it for its speed and unrivaled softness, the only negative would be the price a little high, but taking into account the longevity of my Series 5 c is an excellent investment.
