If the answer is "pressed for time a stack of paper digitize", then the scanner is a good choice.
I drove it earlier beads of sweat on his forehead, as I had once about 100 sheets to scan / copy under pressure again. With a flatbed scanner detention. Now that's a Klax and makes it almost fun.
A few more details:
With the 4 GB Micro SD (need for EUR 8 order separately), you can save 5,000 b / w copies or 900 color copies with 600 DPI resolution. Without SD card the device works, I do not think so.
The SD card is inserted a one. Then you turn on the device and stings with a small needle into the hole for formatting. You will see a "F" and pressing the button to scan to the formatting to start. It takes about 3 seconds until the formatting of a 4 GB card is ready.
The operation is simple: a button switches between color and B / W, a different resolution between 300 and 600 dpi. And another one is there to start scanning and exit. That's it.
Scanning a S / W page takes to instructions 2 seconds. As fast as I can not do even that, but 4 Sec. are realistic.
Then you close the "magic wand" to the supplied USB cable.
Optionally, you can examine the stored "JPG" images, rework, etc. or equal to select all and send it to the printer.
The quality is good. For high resolution copies of photos, not so very appropriate. For B / W copies ranging from 300 dpi completely. Here would have been sufficient already 150.
For me, another plus: there is no software installation required! The scanner is detected as a USB flash drive.
I prefer a star off because the scanner has a relatively wide overhanging area left and right and therefore you take the pages to be scanned in advance from the folder or must remove the staples. Therefore not suitable for scanning books or magazines, if these do not have sufficient margin of about 1-2 cm.
And you need a little practice, so that you will not scan to go wrong.
Conclusion:
who ...
- Looking for a quick and simple workhorse
- And has to scan loose A4 pages
- And does not want to spend so much money for a scanner with input tray
- Must be or mobile,
... Is hereby well served.
Have so last night 100 pages scanned.
I would buy it or this type scanner again.
