The USB port is 8x6x3.5 cm. There are built on top of four USB 3.0 port. Between the port is sufficient space, so that even larger USB stick's or the like can be inserted next to each other. Connecting the USB unit is thanks to the long cable is no problem even connected back to the PC, the cable is long enough to be placed on the table. Reading the USB media, so no problems.
Only the weight could be slightly higher to ensure a firm footing. Depends on the cable, for example, the edge of the table, the machine does something with.
