faster charging with higher safety

My interest in a magnetic charging cable was aroused when I read the specifications of the Nexus 10, charging by induction would indeed have been even better, but you can not have everything. Google itself offers stand today = 3 months after launch no separate pogo pin charging cable, the selection is therefore limited to this one here. Other manufacturers are not known to me.

The reasons why I wanted a magnetic charging cable are as follows:

Fit / Processing: The contacts (Magnet / current) fit very well on the Nexus 10, as soon as one comes close to the tablet with the connector (0.5 cm apart) dock it on their own. But you have to pay attention to the alignment, as it produces only one direction Contact. A watermark for orientation lacking. The contact pins on the plug are spring-mounted and press against the contact areas on the tablet. Between Tablet and connectors are also not big and bulky gaps. The processing of the plug and cable are also fine. The cable length is approximately 1.5 m.

Loading speed: In direct comparison USB port vs. Pogo pin has to charge 14% (Low Battery Warning) to 100% with the Pogo 30min less needed.

Negatives: The charging cable is supplied only with a USB port for charging. I can not quite understand (20 EUR) considering the price, was therefore omitted here a mains plug. However, it can be docked to the original USB power plug.

Through the cable no data connection is established to the PC by the way, it is a pure charging cable. That's for me, but no criticism because the pogo pin connector that does not yield and before I make all things wireless.

Conclusion: Buy recommendation, as it is a security feature such as a protective cover. Deduction there, because no power cord is included.
