Note that the block is significantly smaller than the original, and the cable connecting it to the power socket is of type C (no ground). These two features make the whole more easy to store (flexible cable).
The case is supplied with a surprising quality for a camera so small price, but I admit I struggled to grasp its usefulness, since this kind of food is expected to slide into the bag of computer it accompanies.
