The pack is true to himself, a book compact, practice by its (relatively) small footprint.
Audio CDs and MP3 are, in my opinion, essential for some languages, this is especially true for tonal languages.
However, I regret the absence of a diagram in the book to indicate the height of tones, I advise all of you to look for one on the Internet, it helps a lot to locate itself within 6 tones of the language. Too bad it is not present in the book ...
It would also make a good lesson "Zero" to practice some tones before embarking in the lessons.
Fortunately, these are fairly short and allow to become familiar with the tones.
Last precision, for those who want to learn standard Chinese (Mandarin) spoken by the vast majority of Chinese, it is the method "Chinese without difficulty" that should be taken.
This method is a very good initiative and will help to know the language of southern China, Hong Kong, Macao and Chinese communities overseas.
