Long we had an album by Cyndi wait with completely new songs, but now it is finally here and the wait was worth it! Certainly some people will criticize the Cyndi Lauper on "Bring Ya to the Brink" is no longer the Cyndi is that you know in the 80's and love has learned, but it is perfectly logical that a Cyndi 25 years after their first album "She's So Unusual "has evolved musically and want to release an album that can be sold even in this day and age. "Bring Ya to the Brink" sounds modern and is quite suitable for the dance floor and Cyndi's voice still sounds just great and is still unmistakable. I especially like among other titles like the beautifully melodic "A grave Hold" and "Echo", and the first single "Same Ol 'Story". Is a pity certainly perish only this album for lack of necessary promotion and lack of airplay time on radio and television in the mass of publications and totally be hardly noticed.
