Story: Yes, the story is for me usually not that important but I must say that the Assassin's Creed series is very good. Captivate the background story in the present day, but also the story of revenge and justice in Italy in the 15th century, which I call the "Eziostory" significantly better find in part 2 as in Brotherhood. Nevertheless, the game is not story-heavy, so you do not have to watch closely in every movie. 5/5
Atmosphere: The atmosphere of the Renaissance is breathtakingly beautiful. Whether you are staying in the middle of a city like Venice or Rome or rides through the Toscana and the Romagna, it feels like in the 15th century. The cities are shown in great detail, is full of people in the city to walk around (although usually only between two points back and forth) and the beautiful soundtrack does the rest. In addition, it interacts mostly with those who actually lived at that time , 5/5
Gameplay: The gameplay of Assassins Creed, while not unique, but very abewechslungsreich and fun. Basically, it consists of three basic elements: climbing, fighting and unnoticed sneak up on victims and brutally assassinate. Point 1 is phenomenal. Ezio (or Desmond) take even the most tiny window ledge or Holsbalken to pull themselves to dizzying heights or dive from house to house. While that is not too demanding but nevertheless makes enormous fun, even if it is partly already seehr unrealistic as Ezio catching a 20 meter drop with one hand on a ledge. Funny are also the comments of passersby gawking, every expert knows what I mean.
Point 2, the fighting on the other hand drops a little. While it is fun, spectacular slaughter the guards with multiple weapons one by one, but unfortunately that is too easy in the long run. So to get clear with dodge, counterattack and good medicine alone (or in Brotherhood Assassin with his students) to 10 or more guards. In my opinion, the fighting in Brotherhood were a little more sophisticated than in the predecessor.
Point 3 is the hardest part of Assassin's Creed, but also the most important. You always have the paths of the guards in the eye have to then kill silently, then make up to it in the ground to make the sacrifice and then mostly to flee spektatkulär. Each attempt involves other conditions and proves to be very varied and it unfortunately is in Brotherhood only 3 correct bombings in the main story, in AC2 there are more than 10. Sometimes there are extreme frustration moments when suddenly a guard yells "Lachuu (so to hear this unknown word to me) as it is "and then the word" de-synchronization "on the screen ... grrrrrrr runs. These three main components are supplemented by a number of side missions and other gameplay elements, it is never, not even after the second time by playing boring. All in all the single player takes the first time to play 12-15 hours (I am not Prozocker) 5/5
Brotherhood I find better overall than AC2, which is due to the slightly heavier difficulty and a little more variety but mainly on existing multiplayer.
The fact is extremely good and unlike many other multiplayer games. It runs approximately as follows: You have a goal that you have to kill, and are themselves the target of other players. The inconspicuous you act, the more points you get and the easier it is to survive. There are many more details, but all of which would enumerate last really long. 5/5
The only thing I do not like that you have to be able to play to create a Ubisoftaccount and as a permanent online connection is required, but it is coming mittlerweise hardly get past it. In addition, sequence 8 of Brotherhood in the second half is very very boring, as seen from the gameplay (insiders know what I mean)
Conclusion: This review applies mostly for AC2 and Brotherhood, because the two games are very similar. Both games are excellent and make a lot of fun. I hope that Revelations will also appear for Mac, but doubt it. From me there are 5 star.
