I previously had a HiSilicon TR42 II. The unit had to unfortunately be sent back. The graphics performance simply was not enough. (See review on the device)
My movies are all in the format .ts ago (TS containers). The files are located on a NAS. The Orbsmart (with XBMC) plays everything from totally liquid. (SD recordings). For HD movies, there have been also no difficulties.
I have not yet found a way off the things. Rear of the unit, there is of course a button. The device drives it to standby. But somehow I find no way into the software, the device restart, or shut to go ... but I'm looking for more ...
A star deduction is available for the piano lacquer surface. Scratching quickly, you immediately see any lint. I like the surfaces simply do not.
Otherwise, everything works exactly as advertised.
ADDENDUM:
There is actually absolutely no way to turn off the device via software function. Also not possible for standby. What is going to root the device and then there probably Apps for ... am still not sure if I'm doing this.
What also goes:
In addition to the USB port is a small button. If one here 12 seconds (Maybe 10, if I have to quickly count) expresses it, moves the part down and remains out. Maximum annoying that this is not possible with the remote control. Turning then goes through another push on the button ...
