All too often we had to throw out frozen meat because the bags were once again not tightly. Freezer burn and bad taste are the unpleasant consequences.
However, more Vacuum Packaging there in the market than you might think. The decision was certainly not an easy.
At first I was taken with an instrument from Lava, have me but then looked again due to the high cost of equipment of this manufacturer and stumbled over the Caso VC 200.
Double weld, 30 cm width, Rollenbox and foil cutter ... well, that sounds good to you in advance. So the thing and three packs bags ordered.
Now, after an estimated 30 Vakuumiervorgängen I create time a review.
Actually the könte be short: Watch out!
But more on that. The VC 200 comes in a package incl. Two rolls of film. This is in view of the price just for the roles already a bargain.
At the handle of roles: simply cut a piece in the desired length, a side weld, feed pure, vacuuming, fäddisch.
However, I use almost exclusively the finished bags. Are to the total length of the roll converted significantly cheaper. Here, the handle is even simpler: bag on, feed pure, vacuuming, fäddisch.
The handling of the device requires no prior knowledge (I had a bit read only on the net in the matter), and even the Bedinungsanleitung is still intact in a box. Everything is self-explanatory. I would like to highlight the possibility of the vacuum sealing process manually pause by pressing the Stop button. After that you can then close it with pressing the welding button the bag. Why this is important ??? It's simple: If you want to, for example marinated barbecue stuff weld, then the vacuum draws naturally also the marinade from the bag. Thus the bag edge is wet and can no longer be verschmeißt reasonable. So you simply interrupt the suction at the point when the liquid begins to crawl toward bag opening and then welded to.
The vacuum created or the vacuum in the bag is sufficient. The bag is after vacuuming anywhere quite wrinkle-free and above all free of air on to the food. Impressive is the fun to vacuuming a hamburger buns ...
So far I can not see any weaknesses on the device. Super price (incl. Two roles !!!) and proper functioning. 5 Stars! Would I buy again at any time.

Addendum 14.05.2012:
We have now wrapped meat with bones and even with wooden skewer. Since the possibility of interrupting the suction again shows all its advantages, because you this simply interrupt kan BEFORE bones or spears damage the bags. Just a great part!

Addendum 15.01.2013:
Estimates have 100 bags the part still does his service as the first day. So far me a bag with vacuum loss is also only noticed, and that was probably the damp bag edge during welding. Everything so far has super!

Addendum 11.06.2015:
Device is still running, and is not yet broken, or otherwise damaged. However I do after I now had about 4x vacuum loss in frozen bags, in addition, a second weld to each bag.
Bag usage to date: about 250 pieces!
I am still very happy with the part.
