The monitor comes with a couple of cables (no HDMI cables), which are not interesting but for me, as I needed a special cable for my mini-display port.
Mounted was all very quickly and off we went: First 7 tested on Windows, where everything is presented beautifully sharp and without black bars. On Mac OSX 10.5.8 I have unfortunately found no way to remove the black bars at the edges. For the corresponding sharpness you should probably use DVI or HDMI.
In general, the monitor is very sharp and there are no dead pixels. What I find a bit of a shame that the screen (the glass) is not covered with a sheet, if the monitor is supplied. Now I have a small barely noticeable scratch on my screen, which was created when installing.
The "Splendid" modes in which the colors or similar can be adapted to the respective use. For more information on the Asus website gibs.
The monitor is deep about 4.5 cm, which I personally find very nice, as these 2 cm monitors always act very fragile to me.
The built-in speakers are surprisingly good. The sound comes in quieter settings across very clearly. Of course you can not expect investment but for browsing, Youtube and Skype ranging definitely.
In conclusion, I can only say that I liked a lot of the Monitor, it is very reasonable for the service and that I would buy it again persönlch
