Graphics:
With the best I've seen so far in the shooter range. I have never seen such detailed fire and water, I'm on top sat open-mouthed in front of the monitor, glaubts me;) werdets see you if you have the game.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is, as usual for a shooter to start very straight and direct. you have in the demo little opportunity several ways to go, but that is about to change, according to report later in the game greatly. you ballert either authentic and science fiction even weapons through the area, or you can use the so-called "plasmid", the DNA is coupled to its own DNA, so to speak un a endows with super powers. as the ability of his lightning fingers to use up what can be usefully employed by the way. If, for example an opponent in the water, you can just electrify this flash with the, and the adversary is roasted.
Design: the underwater city "Rapture", plays in the Bioshock is located style in the 50s and in the art deco. fits to blare at every turn sounds from the '50s boxing by the ailing, so the mood is created. Overall, the city is very very consistent, and their inhabitants do the rest for the necessary creepy atmosphere.
My first impression after playing the demo was overwhelming. I have seen many many shooter played Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, to brothers in arms, but what really exciting because I could not find for me, due to the worn-out settings of WWII.
BioShock brings some new ideas, along with very very good graphics, which also runs on midrange systems still in full details. All in all, I can say that only needs to get the release now to make Bioshock finally become one of the top hits of this year;)
