I just informed long before I bought a Waveboard for my girls 8 & 10. Read in various forums that the Ripstik lighter, more durable and easier to learn, better speed and is of course less expensive than other boards. Today, the board came and I had initially feared that the 8-year (quite easy) the surfaces can not rotate relative to each other because me everything seemed quite stiff. But was not a problem. After 15 minutes, practicing all incl. Mom and Dad were not exactly elegant but still somehow go with it and we can not wait any more practice on it. Great fun and reminds me personally really snowboarding ans. Can Ripstik fully recommend, however, have compared either with other boards in practice still gathered long-term experience.
