Quick Start Guide:
- Connect to LAN.
- IP comes via DHCP. These find out! eg look with "arp -a", or in the router.
- The browser for [...] navigate! (So the default port is 99.)
- User: admin; Password: leave blank
First test:
- Image quality sufficient to good (640x480 or 320x240 with 50fps or 60fps)
- Web Interface: Intuitive and extensive; I guess you can order konfiguieren everything supports the Cam. And hope the CD contains only useless Windows stuff. Here's what I've tried:
- Wi-Fi: On the contrary to some reviews, the WLAN was set up very simple. There is even a "scan" function in the web interface. SSID, encryption set and ready. IP address is set as described in "Basic Network Settings" (DHCP or static). That worked right away.
- Motion Detection: configuration, together with email SMTP settings was relatively easy. And it also sends good photos to my mail box.
4 stars because the cam was cheap, easy to use and provides reasonably good images. One star is missing because I googled after the manual and after the port had to look for the Web Interface.
