Tested initially with an HDI Dune Duo media player, the signal correctly goes to 1080p60 at 24-bit.
By activating the deep color, whether in 30 or 36-bit, the signal does not pass, including down to 50 frames per second (always of course progressive mode). Get off to 1080p30 resolution to find an image.
The 1080p24 is therefore provided with the deep color though this feature is activated without interest, the 24-bit standard allows up to 1080p60 which is enough to pass any video content.
Second test with a Blu-ray player Oppo BD95 whose output signal has a power in the usual standard, unlike Dune or PS3!
This time, the 1080p60 + the 36-bit deep color goes smoothly and it is the same with 3D.
The cable then replaces the HDMI connection 2m between the player and the amp to add the soundtrack flow. Despite the DTS-HD Master in addition to the video, always impeccable image therefore it is without fault!
This HDMI cable is the right price / quality ratio. There is no point spending more unless you want a more refined aesthetic or specifications as the fire classification offered by the Maestro range Cablesson.
The flexibility of the Ivuna is good and even substantially higher than major brands much more expensive cables ...
