At the very end, I then tried ACD Pro 5 - and it won me over.
The big advantage of ACD Pro: speed
Especially when watching RAW files, the program is really fast on my laptop to make the other programs because all is not fun.
The RAW development itself is exceptionally fast. The entire workflow is faster, however, as the managing (viewing, sorting, sort them into folders) is fixed.
In addition, my folder-based photo management says more than a database-driven.
Disadvantages:
It lacks features such as face detection of PSE 10, and the retouching, I would rather use another program. The assembly of Panorambildern example, is not possible.
Conclusion:
Organisation & RAW development go straight on older hardware with this much faster. Serious differences in quality I could not tell. However, some users believe that, for example, Lightroom when de-noising lies ahead.
For image editing I recommend as a supplement nor Photoshop Elements, here ACD Pro 5 is weakening slightly.
I am delighted with more time to shoot pictures instead Images manage.
