First I must say that I have so far not use mobile phone holder. My reviews are so absolute, understood from my imagination, and not relative to other holders.
First I read the course in German written instructions.
After that I did the lower bracket for the mobile phone away, so I have more flexibility in positioning.
After a few months I can give the following ruling:
+ The mount holds bombproof on the windshield.
+ It is easy to attach with one hand
+ The detachment is also simple, but requires a second hand
+ The foam rubber-like padding keeps my (large cake plate) Note 2 including silicone case in every situation reliably fixed-without walking. It looks like in a few years when the plasticizer escape and cause material fatigue, I can not say.
+ The Äppelgerät is also maintained easily
+ I can not imagine that something larger and smaller phones are kept well
+ Through Ball head the phone can be brought and kept in almost any position.
extent 5 stars
Three things still bother me on the mount:
- At higher speeds gets the construct into resonance vibrations, which make it difficult to read and operate (Navigation). Just then one might just as short as possible to take the eyes off the road.
- The fixing of the ball head is (obviously) behind the bracket. The operation is somewhat pfriemelig when the phone is clamped. I would imagine that a greater grip ring or prolonged gripping nubs would be better operated from the front to the phone around. (Excuse me, I invent the concepts here free). For smaller phones which is perhaps less of a problem.
- This is now perhaps picky, but the suspension of the adjustment mechanism creaks terribly during the adjustment on the phone and width while solving. Knartz PITÄÄNG The sound I find really terrible. luckily I can slip on the phone usually without adjustment.
Whether the disadvantages justify a star deduction? I see the vibrations already critical and therefore say yes.
Nevertheless, I am satisfied on the whole with the holder and am glad that I bought it.
PS
I wear my bracket left and resets the device even before getting a - very convenient!
Especially because I never never never (again) come up with the idea, the phone on the car roof (only for a few seconds) turn off.
