Please keep in mind:
They work best at fixed focal lengths.
In wide-angle zoom, it may be that in the example 18mm setting the lens aperture is too small (I can not judge, because they worked for me at 40mm STM Lens from Canon best).
With telephoto zoom (50-250mm) it is also likely to work very well, the focus range is less critical.
