1__SLT technique (= single-lens-Translucent): No mirror vibrates when triggered upward (lower vibration than with SLR (= mirror-reflex), ie also that of APS-C sensor can continuously measure (because no levels high swings). Further advantages of the SLT technique are set out in point 12.
2__Im housing built image stabilizer: Regardless of connected lenses can always be worked with image stabilization.
3__Hochvariables display: This can rotate, pan, even tilt forward (for self-portraits).
4__Hohe burst rate: Up to 12 frames / sec.
5__Zahlreiche camera programs: If necessary, you can work with the Sony A77 with various most programs, more automatics, aperture priority and time plus manually (see below).
6__Volle manual suitability: This camera can be controlled fully manually, simply and quickly as in the analog days. Also, the manual flash is guaranteed.
7__Menüführung the camera: This is quite clear, however one is surprised at the variety of settings again and again, what can be heruskitzeln from this camera everything.
8__Bedienungsanleitung: This is Sony cameras always at the little book and is also very detailed and helpful.
9__Sensor: The 24.3 megapixel sensor is very high for the APS-C format and is currently second only to full-frame sensors. These 24.3 M-pixel to enlargements to about DIN A2 (= 2x A3) or cutout enlargements can still produce good.
10__Elektronische Libra: This is installed.
11__Eingebauter flash.
12__Hohe suitability of the camera in low light conditions such as dimly lit interiors, evening moods in nature photography. Especially with such light situations, the benefit of SLT technology shows (see Fig. 1 point), because the viewfinder image is lightened electronically in darkness Will and you can still see clearly outlines and structures that remain hidden from a conventional SLT camera. The objection that man could flash in the dark is only partly true. On one hand, this applies only to vicinities of 0 - 15 m and on the other hand lies the whole excitement precisely to master a mood without flash and capture the interesting play of shadows and light.
Points (less important) are for my needs neutral:
1__Film mode
Points that speak against it (nothing serious):
1__Kamera system: If you opt for a Sony SLT camera, so this decision is directed automatically to the two global market leaders (in SLR cameras) Canon and Nikon. Their advantage is an almost unlimited variety of lenses, external lenses, accessories etc. (also from other manufacturers). This diversity offers Sony (yet). At present (06-2014) should be cut off Sony in 3rd place.
2__Blitzanschluss: Sony to succeed Minolta system has (at least for the A77) still integrates the hotshoe of Minolta. For all other camera systems now is the "normal" standard hot shoe. In at least some "newer" camera models (such au the A77-II) Sony has incorporated the standard hot shoe.
