My requirements:
- Competitively priced housing (since, after all, two of which are necessary)
- Nevertheless, good protection of the plate against external influences
- Fast data transfer via USB 3.0
- No more planned conversion: if a disk will limp makes "buried" together with the housing
The (provisional) result:
The CN Memory housing is a direct hit for my purposes!
Easy installation (well, a little screw was missing, but I still had spare da)
and everything works fine under Windows 8.1.
Some criticisms:
If I need the following in the future in an external case, I look for an alternative to prefer:
1. "Constant companion on the go"
Relatively simple plastic, it will attract dust and scratches magically ...
2. "long-distance runner"
The cooling is mE not designed for continuous operation, as neither slots on the top
even metal / heat sink or heat dissipation from the interior are available ...
3. "eye-catcher for the desktop"
I certainly had no stand here ;-) And anyway speaks volumes 1. ...
4. "Common pit stops"
Plate changes do I need not thankfully! Without having tried it affects the "locking mechanism"
with its plastic noses not inspire much confidence for continuous use ...
As soon as something new respect. Speed or reliability (case, power supply) returns, I will update my review accordingly.
