Hyper quiet, inexpensive and works well. But it must be already comfortable with computers and have some basics. An internet connection is essential to make the most of this machine. We can not do everything that is possible with a Mac running OS X 10.5 and higher or with a PC running Windows 8.1, but it's fun. You can come and explore the Google universe (because almost everything through the browser interface). Listening to music (mp3, aac, etc.) even on well-known streaming sites; watch movies (avi, mp4, etc.) even having access to a service provider VOD recently arrived on the French market. Work (text, spreadsheet, presentation) via dedicated applications Google and online store them on the hard drive of the Google Cloud or on a USB key or hard drive from the computer (but not over 9 GB available) to continue to work offline. Make video conference via a USB camera recognized immediately. Use all equipment bluetooth.Et many other applications to discover. Two remarks however: Evernote malfunctions via the Chrome browser (but I do not think it comes from Google), it is in my opinion very difficult to connect a printer via the cloud, so it's a breeze on the Kindle Fire HD. In conclusion, this device is a welcome complement to other computers and troubleshooting, but not as primary computer.
