This book is not intended to seasoned amateur astronomers, but for beginners who would like to navigate the immensity of the night sky. Its strength lies precisely in its simplicity. The author uses to find celestial objects, purely visual cues by drawing lines and geometric shapes from the brightest objects. This method may be rough and "old" but allows the beginner to begin to tame the heaven without the complexity of an atlas or intimidating ease (boring in the long run) with a telescope of an automatic tracking. It gives the viewer the real (and only!) Pleasure to find the objects themselves, either with the naked eye or binoculars (recommended). This little work is put in the hands of all beginners!
