This external drive is designed to store photos and holiday video (5400 rpm 8 MB cache), it therefore has no internal hard drive features (7200 rpm 32 or 64 MB cache).
It comes with software (AutoBackup, Secure Drive), USB 3.0 cable, power supply with adapters for Europe, the USA, Australia ... Connectivity USB 3.0 is significant: there is a real gain time when copying with respect to USB 2.0.
It is aesthetic but for the strength I will not crash test.
No power on / stop: it turns itself off when the PC is turned off and lights up when the PC starts up. Practice.
Reliability: to do in the long term, but the Seagate / Samsung so good in principle.
I had to update the USB 3.0 driver (in connection with the motherboard chipset) for the disk to be recognized after each PC startup.
