For delicious coffee specialties with capsule garbage problem

We are Gusto users since 2007 satisfied Dolce and knew thus in principle, which we have let ourselves in this test (apart from the optics and processing). We know from the early days, a somewhat more modest selection of flavors. There are, however, come regularly to new varieties. We use so far still a great-model KP 2002 14 bar, which was previously decalcified only now and then and despite regular use is still working properly. In the circle but there were already failures or problems in the same or complain successor.

Some flavors (Lungo, Macchiato, cappuccino, etc.) or variations you can now own home "cook / blanch without on variants from bags or cans that partly. But are also quite fragrant, dodge. Benefits:

Neutral:

+/- When dosing I've trained myself, per 10 ml count about two second (ie z. B. 170 ml approx 34 sec.). This has the advantage that the mixing ratio recommended by the manufacturer and thus fits also corresponds approximately to the recommended amount of water. Besides, I can so also easily use other cups and does not have to regularly meticulously measure the capacity.
+/- 6 annexed capsules in Welcome Pack are a bit thin as an accessory, but the current price is quite attractive
+ / Small tank - where is the in this compact little ones all the water because even go? Otherwise Krups offers more devices that consume as well as more parking
+/- If you do not rotate the device, it is not so easy to leave the tank always snap exactly something unwieldy
+/- The volume is not without (though the old unit also makes some noise)!

Disadvantages:

- May be a drawback for beginners: you have to self-dosing, ie every case be; However one can even vary (see above) and a process also does not take very long
- No one uses glasses, cups with accurate measurement, U. can be u misjudge dosing - result:.. Too much o too weak
- Thus caused is required as an accessory for guests more cups or glasses
- Real cold drinks are actually only with ice water or ice cubes accessible (no refrigerator)
- Environmental aspect - waste by disposable capsules (here everyone must choose for yourself!) - I have to keep in mind this problem before buying, there is no massive points deduction because no one is forcing me to buy the Dolce Gusto! I would imagine that in the future manufacturers of these capsules are more publicly denounced me but - therefore they should come up with something here, because the rubbish heap with increasing sales rather increases. The extent to which the consumer should restrict consumption, remains to be seen - it tastes (we) just too good ..

So, about the taste a lot has already been said in the other reviews here ultimately everyone must decide for themselves. Persons with professional device claim will not possibly put 100% satisfied, but others have. My wife and I liked it very well, by the way also several other among friends / acquaintances, each of which has its own unit of Krups.

In daily business there with us for years less "normal" coffee, or tea, the Dolce Gusto Oblo will be used several times a week, especially on weekends. Anyone who wants to avoid further waste mountains, this product has to date but unfortunately probably steer clear (conflict of interest). Price: 5 points, optics / processing: 4 points, Output: 4 points, 1 - 2 points for economy - a total, in our view (yet) 4 points (wg environmental engineering stress / concern.).
