But unfortunately you can hear a significant difference in quality. I do not know if it is due to the lossy compression method or the DAC is not ideal ... For small music systems it may go. But I have understanding as well on a small 5.1 system (all compact speaker) tested, as well as to a 5.1 with large floor-standing speakers. Each time the result was the same: When you digitally goes to the plant from the tablet (via HDMI), are worlds apart. I'm not talking about Audiophile and even MP3 music, but even then you can hear it (unfortunately). I have tried 2 adapter. The quality is always the same. You can hear it more clearly at the large facility. There is a lack of dynamics, bass seem to be mitigated and voices sound muffled.
I use it now for the kitchen radio, for the hi-fi system the loss of quality is just too high.
