The lamp consists of individual segments that must be bolted together. When I light the thread is not particularly fit in two segments. I did not manage to screw the respective segments without a canting of the thread. Therefore, I have at one point a (detectable only on closer viewing) slight bend in the lamp. Otherwise, the installation of the light was no problem. More difficult was the installation of energy-saving lamp. Actually, one must energy-saving lamps do not touch the glass body and rotate in the socket because of the vitreous can break it. Only: In this light one has no other choice. The energy saving bulb has to be screwed after mounting the glass screen of the lamp. The glass screen is so narrow that you can touch the energy-saving lamp during installation only at the top (ie on glass). When you first turn then disillusionment: It remained dark. The supplied energy saving lamp proved to be defective (Made in PRC, ie China). I had otherwise only short lamps with E14 thread for hand, all could not be installed, because I could not so deeply believe in the glass shade to tighten the lamp. In short: You can unscrew bulbs only in this light that have a certain minimum length (estimated 10 cm). On the other hand they must not be too thick (a maximum of about 5 cm) because the glass screen is very narrow. I have now installed an LED lamp in the form of candles. So I have the lamp hopefully in the next few years no longer exchange.
Conclusion: The production quality of the light could be better (thread), and the supplied energy saving lamp was in my case garbage. In addition, they can not screw it safely. I can therefore only suggest equal mitzukaufen a reasonable LED lamp and energy saving lamp - if it works at all - otherwise employ.
