Already after the first frying (rump steak) unfolded the fried meat a nice crisp color, an incredible roast fragrance and due to the longitudinal grooves of the pan a lovely grill pattern.
The grilling result is exceptionally good. Compare with any pan I have been able to achieve such frying results.
The pan you should really only use for beef steaks; to sear onion, pepper or onion (tried everything), I can not recommend the ladle.
The only "disadvantage": The pan is extremely difficult. With one hand you can not be borne by the stove in the chimney room. But the material is just real cast iron.
For me, absolute buy recommendation!
