The image performance is quite good, the colors are good and the images are very liquid.
Now we come to the "negative" points.
After Auspaken, followed the Innbetriebnahme.
Connect the power cable, Lan cable off the router look which IP address was assigned, and then sign in with the login details (login data are back on the camera).
There change the password and create the appropriate users.
Finished! At least if you want to operate the camera with LAN cable.
Since I have no desire to move 20 meters Lan cable across my house, I naturally wanted to use the WLAN.
Because, unfortunately, the problem starts.
First, select the camera menu from the point and Wi-Fi enabled this. Then you are looking for existing WLANs or are directly the SSID and the associated WLAN password. (Use ATTENTION! No more than 12 characters and if possible no special characters)
Then you can have it checked the WLAN settings. This takes about 30 seconds and displays ideally, that's the connection is successful.
We confirmed it with OK, and now the wireless should work if the LAN cable is removed ...
Of this you should go out at least .. But this is not so !!
I then tried mehere hours it should get and then I gave up and the Wansview Support (English) wrote an email. This gave me the following useful information. (After only one day waiting period, very commendable !!)
If you have made points described above (including the Wi-Fi check), you have to remove the LAN cable, wait a few seconds and then "IMPORTANT" remove the power cable for at least 30 seconds !!
Then you can connect the power cable again.
One must therefore wait 30 seconds, then the camera probably some time keeps the voltage, even if it is already separated from the cable!
IMPORTANT !!
Now you log in again in his router. The camera has now namely via WLAN a different IP address than LAN cable !!
Referring now this new IP address, the camera under WLAN is verügbar and works flawlessly!
Since I operate the camera also has a NAS (Synology 213+) and diie cameras are not officially supported here's a hint:
You just have to select a FOSCAM camera! With these settings, then you get a picture in Surveilance Station!
Now even the biggest negative point.
As mentioned earlier, I have ordered two of these cameras.
Unfortunately, the second has been delivered damaged. The camera simply gets no electricity (not a switch) and the accompanying CD was also broken.
I hope I could the one or Andren hereby configuration facilitate something :)!
