Already the first song where AMJ chiming discreetly take 2 minutes, immediately sets the high musical level and the specificity of this album firmly: Because AMJ even then had to prove nothing more can you on this album the musicians seemingly deliberately come forward, what is very fair and an additional listening produced - precisely because these excellent musicians are remarkably longer and better perceived individually as all other 7 albums that I know of (plus 2 with her). The arrangements are subtle and complex, yet they act mE transparent. Furthermore, the versatile and rather restrained tempos allow the ingenuity of some pieces to understand without it demands a special effort from the listener. Really comfortable and beautiful!
Overall, the audience gets more opportunity to discover how very good Polish jazz musicians are - if not yet known! If you want to continue this journey of discovery, I recommend in addition the DVD "Farat" that this extensive and of course visually confirmed, as well as the professionalism of AMJ and its partly longtime sideman.
