Now we slaughter the sacred cow. Two Best Of albums have already published U2. Rather moderate chart positions do not speak for a "Single Best Of" because U2 were never a typical single band. So why this publication? A message from the October leaves speculation about: U2 switch from "Iceland" to "Mercury". Was there anything else open? Of course, hits like "Pride" or "With or Without You" on the CD. The single releases of the first two albums, however missing. But two new pieces: "The Saints Are Coming" is one with "Green Day" recorded cover version of an old "The Skids" -Klassikers in favor of the project "Music Rising", which replace musicians who lost their instruments during Hurricane Katrina this want. With "House of the Rising Sun" as an intro. Swam over it. The second new number "Window In The Skies" is simply bland food. "18 Singles" is thus somehow superfluous. At most, to acquire the "Limited Edition" with live recordings from the Milan concert the last tour you can safely think. As an old admirer of the Irish I am appalled how obviously money to be earned here. The music certainly deserves more than 2 stars. But: Have not we all?
