First off the front: the part looks great. Very noble material, matt, fässt on very well and is perfectly located on the chassis.

The only drawback: because the new generation (04/2010) of the MacBook Pro series of power connector has changed and now runs backwards, is the hard case something in the way. With a little craftsmanship Schnitzgeschick can the plastic at the site but easily dilute something and then everything fits perfectly!

Therefore: a point deduction, although Schnitzspaß is guaranteed ..;)

After over a year of intensive use I must unfortunately connect my Mitrezensenten: the rubber coating dissolves even with careful handling and it is becoming increasingly ugly. Meanwhile, the envelope is in the corner and dusty as the MacBook's about 1.5 years now and has become firmly established as a working tool. So it looks really noble of, slips easily into the pocket and is therefore a few grams lighter and correspondingly thinner. A few small fine scratches so I have to take into account, however.

Overall conclusion: first looks chic, but turns out to be neither as durable nor (with advanced age of Macbooks) than absolutely necessary. Another point deduction.
