In order to decide what size fits:
Size L seems to be the standard size. Terms of dimensions comparable with earplugs soft & earplugs color. But who can feel with the said easy, but nevertheless unpleasant feeling of pressure has a decent noise, should rather tend to Bilsom in size L, as these are softer. Thus, the feeling of pressure stays away. The Bilsom S are a little smaller, not only in length but also in diameter. I mean, that size L is the standard size and size S is more suitable for small and sensitive ear canals.
The idea to choose the size S, because in earplugs, a feeling of pressure occurs, I can not confirm that. Of course, this is only a recommendation, at the price you can buy both quantities and try.
Product review:
Unfortunately, I am extremely sensitive with regard to human noises while sleeping, which refers to snoring, wallowing and (loud) breathing, my partner has here not easy with me. So I can sleep in peace and he has the day then no overtired terrorist monster at his side, I tried the Bilsom 323 earplugs out.
I had already made several experiences with earplugs, now we have no products brought real improvement: some were determined to, the other too small, the wax have somehow brought nothing and eventually I gave up and preferred slept on the sofa. My partner used the Bilsom already BW times and asked me to try it again. What can I say, I would have no other plug more. This review is particularly on the comparison Bilsom vs. Ohropax a since I last tried again recently and I therefore experience is still most remembered.
The Bilsom earplugs are softer and much easier to handle and shape, as soft earplugs. The latter left after only a very short gestation period an unpleasant feeling of pressure in the ear, sleeping on the side was therefore not particularly pleasant. This is at the Bilsom not the case: They adapt to the ear very well, really are pleasantly soft and therefore close the Gehöhrgang poets from as earplugs. Furthermore, the insertion of the plugs Bilsom's easier by far. The fact that they can be really good roll and short stay in this position, they slide better ear. In soft earplugs I always had too little time to use them until they had formed again. It usually I succeeded only after 4-5 attempts, if you are tired, this could frustrate.
The Bilsom plugs keep with me in daily use for about 5 nights. After that they are somehow a little "gagelig" and the insertion does not work as easily as at the beginning. The tip is not as nice and small for insertion, but shapes itself more quickly. As my frustration threshold is fatigue at about -250, I then use a new pair.
Very nice, I think even in the Bilsom that you can tell if they have unfolded done (apart from the incipient deafness ^^). After inserting I hold my fingers a little to his ear, until the acoustic crackling stops, which accompanied the unfolding process. This was not the case for the ear plugs. They have completely silently unfolds, so I sometimes prematurely finger took away from his ear and then they came out somewhat.
I can Bilsom earplugs recommend unreservedly for schlafempindliche people like me have the belling stags beside him. Whether the Bilsom plugs for massive noise like. Construction sites, etc. are suitable, I do not dare to confirm, for this application, I have not yet tested.
