For me, this score would have deserved an Oscar !!!

I've read here some (sometimes very) negative reviews on this score. Some can I agree, some do not.
The fact that this musical score is perhaps not very sophisticated and classical physics has little value, is obvious. And that is not a classical composer Hans Zimmer, is also clear.
However, these are not criteria for a score !! These are after all not a symphony of a classical composer, but a kind of music that just for this movie, "composed", "written", or was "created".
And what makes a score known as the following:
It must match the film. He has to carry the film. It must reflect the film. He must be inextricably linked to the film.
And that meets this score.

That the Joker theme sounds like a vacuum cleaner - what I've read here - I absolutely can not understand. A theme for a character like Joker you could not have better write! Nothing could better reflect Joker as this all-pervasive, downright sickening sound that gets under your skin and flooded with goosebumps-flashes.

I hear daily parts of this score and I get goose bumps every time and am always thrilled to the next. It is of course a matter of taste.
But for me personally, this score has earned an Oscar because he so well serves the purpose of a score as few others that I know (and I know a lot!).

Every time I hear this score, get all the emotions that I had while looking the film back. That's always a unique feeling.

Conclusion:
Musically perhaps not always quality, but the perfect soundtrack for this film!
Thus inviolable 5 stars !!
