However, such lamps make only in the evening when it's dark, sense, because during the day the insects do not seem to perceive the UV light. Anyway, nothing is happening during the day, although massive flies are all around. We have the equipment available in the kitchen, where we just have a plague of flies. And in the evening flying around especially the mosquitoes around the lamp until they decide to fly into the grid after a while ... flies are indeed rather quiet evening. In the period from 20-23 clock is only a fly, but 3 mosquitoes had strayed into the lamp (which was then all eliminated).
Conclusion: device technically sound, good for mosquitoes, but the principle of UV light is not sufficient necessarily from, if you want all the pests are sure going. Better still would be a construction which additionally emits a fragrance at the same time!
